Craft Kits @ Valparaiso Library Tickets

Valparaiso Community Library invites all patrons with young children to come and pick up craft kits to be enjoyed at home.
New kits will be placed outside our doors every Monday morning and will be available for contact-less pick up Monday-Friday from 9-5.
Kits will be placed Friday September 4th in advance of our Labor Day Holiday.

Hobby Farming Tickets

Come and learn about different types of gardening; discuss tools to use; discover local resources;  hear from guest speakers and so much more.

There are so many ways to enjoy gardening, from start to finish.  This class is an introduction into the wonderful world of farming.  Not only will you be introduced to the different types of gardening, but also to tools you will need or want.  Not sure what to plant?  This could just be the perfect way to spend your Saturday as we will discuss what to plant and why.

Need some local resources?  Perfect, we will be giving a lot of local resources in various demographics.

Want to get your kids excited about eating vegetables but don’t know how… Learn to grow a garden together and they will love what they harvest.
